This year’s grand finale of the weeklong Ikorodu -Oga celebrations, was not all about the installation ceremony of important dignitaries from Abuja, but residents, through their various social clubs and associations, popularly called “Regberegbe”, also lightened up the ceremony with their elegance in native attires of different colours and styles.
Their elegance, poise and steeze were all over the palace as they filed out one after the other to pay homage to the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Engr. Kabir Adewale Shotobi who was the Chief Host, and other royal fathers, including Oba (Dr.) Frederick EnitiOlorunda Obateru Akinruntan, CON, Paramount Ruler & Prescribed Authority Olugbo of Ugboland, who was the Royal Father of the Day.

Some of the Regberegbes that showed class were Egbe Tobalase, Unique Sisters Club, Blissful Family, Forever Sister Club, Gbogeniyi, Arobayo, Kikiewa, Bobaseye, Egbe Elite Akile Obinrin, Peaceful Royal, Bobagunte, Obalolade, Ijebu Elites, Unique Club, Egbe Akile Ijebu, Ikorodu Division Woman Forum and Elite Gathering among many others.
